Today I fished the Green River which is about 1 hour south of Jackson Hole near Pinedale Wyoming.

Sunday, August 17th, 2014

The fishing was pretty good today. Managed to land about 15 fish with sevral nice rainbow trout like this one.

Sunday, August 17th, 2014

Saw a couple of mule deer along the river as well as several herds of antelope as we were driving to the river.

Monday, August 18th, 2014

Today I left Driggs, Idaho and drove through West Yellowstone, MT and through the Gallatin Valley on into Bozeman, MT. I'll be staying here for the next 5 days.

Tuesday, August 19th, 2014

Today I fished the Boulder River which is about an hour east of Bozeman, MT. I think it's my favorite river to fish. I fished with Dennis Alverson who I've fished with for the past 7 years. As you can see from the photo the river is aptly named.

Tuesday, August 19th, 2014

The fishing was GREAT today. I caught so many fish that I lost count, probably 35 or 40. This river is so much fun to float.

Wednesday, August 20th, 2014

Today was a day off. A day to do laundry and go to the movies.

Thursday, August 21st, 2014

The fishing was so good on the Boulder River yesterday that we decided to fish there again. The fishing was even better today than Tuesday.

Thursday, August 21st, 2014

Here's a video (part 1) of catching the largest fish of the trip.

Thursday, August 21st, 2014

Here's Part 2 of the video.

Thursday, August 21st, 2014

Here's the fish caught in the video. The biggest fish of my 3 days on the Boulder.

Friday, August 22nd, 2014

The fishing was so great on the Boulder the past 2 days that we decided to spend another day fishing there. The weather has been overcast and rainy and that really helped the fishing. Many of the other rivers were too muddy to fish. I caught almost 200 fish in the past 3 days. WOW !!!

Friday, August 22nd, 2014

Here's Chef Dennis again, this time cooking some Elk steaks for lunch.

Saturday, August 23rd, 2014

Left Bozeman today and drove to Cameron, Montana and am staying in a little log cabin on the banks of the Madison River.

On to week 3
